We couldn’t have asked for a better experience here at Forest Hideaway. We were always attended to in every way from wildlife questions to food orders to specially catered packages and beyond. When I was ill one day the staff made sure to check on me and take my food orders. When on walking and jeep safaris the guides were always on high spirits and full of jokes to keep us in high spirits while waiting for tigers or monkeys to cross our paths. Their knowledge on birds was extensive and the birder in our group had plenty to talk about. We spent many nights going through the bird book and identifying all the different species. We are all thankful for the enthusiasm and competence of the staff here as well as the breathtaking landscape. We’ll definitely be back with our fingers crossed for a tiger sighting!

Stayed only one night. Did a short village tour and a half day jungle tour- enjoyed both of those very, very much.

Plus had probably the funniest evening in my life. Almost got married! Here’s always a good time,

End of my trip but the best part. I liked jungle more than the mountain. Enjoyed the food, culture, friendly staff and of course the wildlife. I saw otter, two types of deer, wild boar, monkey, crocodile and Rhino.  Unfortunately no tiger or perhaps next time. I am sure. Looking for next time to come.

We are a couple of Spanish people traveling in Nepal for 3 weeks. Our trip in Nepal stared here in bardia we came from Delhi on a long bus trip. This place is a fantastic and peace full place where to relax; forest hideaway people had been very kind and helpful while our stay, even they had been very helpful providing information and helpful contact numbers for the rest of our trip. We spent 3 night here and the best things about this place including staff! Has been the good!! We eat Nepal food and they prepared with less spices, wonder full!! We have done a guided tour with Santos by bicycle around the villages, explaining us about local life, agriculture, animals… we had also visited the elephant breeding center. The ride around the village and the fields was lovely, rice plantation give a superb color to the viewing. WE have also enjoyed a guide walk safari with Santosh and Ganesh (Fantastic guide ) we weren’t lucky to see the tiger but we got to see elephant, crocodile ,deer’s ,and Rhino. The experience was good, views are beauty and walking in the jungle was adventures. Very highly recommend place to stay!! We came to spend 2 nights but we stayed 3 night. Phone and mail answering is very good and fast From Mohan Aryal
Thank you very much
