Babai river flowing through the Bardia national park is one of the best habitat for mighty golden mahsheer with several spots for fishing and is easily accessible from the road. The best season to go fishing is before or after the monsoon i.e. from February till April and from October till November when fishes go upstream for spawning and consume less food.
