This essentially dances performed by local Tharu dance troupes and is a highlight of any visit to Forest Hideaway. You will see the colorful dances with traditional costumes and music.

We had an unique experience in Rana tharus area, met a lot of friendly people in different villages, discovered a very interesting minority, who must be protected from mass tourism.
We got chance to travel with Bardia “Dream” team, good guide, good driver, good friends, (good dancer also) and hope to come back again for new adventures.

Walking in allows you to explore the rich diversity of the jungle, grasslands and rivers. This is the best way to see wildlife and nature close up. Explore the community forest, river habitats and open water areas to see the wide range of varieties of birds. Bird watching is best done on foot for the least disturbance, but you can take a jeep safari or drift down the Karnali River for sightings of the many river birds.
