Serenity, Safari and Adventure

20 years experience in Jungle Safari, Since 1994

Wildlife Photography Tour

We don’t really have any fixed itineraries – almost all our guests travel on an itinerary that they have helped us design to their own specifications.

We’ll assist you with suggestions about where to go and where to stay but ultimately it is your safari and the final decision is yours.

To help you get started we can offer you the normal packages with more concentration on photography. As we have guides who are interested in photography too, we can help you to show bests of Bardia.  You can choose whether to select one of these itineraries as it is, customize it to your requirements or suggest an entirely different itinerary. Whatever your choice we’ll be happy to prepare a quotation for you.

THARU CULTURAL PROGRAM

This essentially dances performed by local Tharu dance troupes and is a highlight of any visit to Forest Hideaway. You will see the colorful dances with traditional costumes and music.

BICYCLE TOUR

Local bikes are available for you to explore the local village, with or without a guide.

KARNALI RIVER RAFTING

An early morning 30 km drive by jeep will drop you by the Karnali River. This is followed by a serene day rafting down the gentle Karnali. Drifting down the river allows you to spot wildlife, especially the endangered freshwater Gangetic dolphin, the gharial crocodile, exotic birds and big game on the nearby river banks. Swimming is also possible and sometimes the dolphins may join you!

ELEPHANT SAFARI

Bardia National Park provides a number of well looked after domestic elephants. These fearless, majestic animals provide the safest and easiest way to move around inside the park. Walking through tall grasslands and dense jungle, you’ll sight wildlife safely from the back of the elephant.

FROM THE BLOG

This year I had my most amazing jungle safari in Nepal going around Bardia National Park as a part of market research, feasibility study and safari holidays.
